At NOWATCH we are building a high-quality design, native mobile application. There are several corresponding domains in the app, with a lot more to come. Think of bluetooth (always-on connection with NOWATCH), high amounts of sensory data, OpenGL/Metal and in the future we will be implementing ML models.
As a Technical Lead at NOWATCH, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the technology that drives our product. We're looking for a Technical Lead who can guide the development team in tackling complex technical challenges and take the product to the next level.

You lead technical design and development of the company's app (native iOS & Android) and websites (React/Typescript), ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.
You collaborate with product management and design teams to understand product requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
You mentor and lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support, and promoting a culture of learning and growth.
You act as a technical subject matter expert and provide technical leadership in architectural design and technical direction.
You lead technical discussions and presentations to stakeholders, including management and customers.
You collaborate with other teams, such as customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
You help grow the team by identifying and hiring new software engineers.

You have strong technical knowledge and expertise in native iOS & Android app development, as well as React/Typescript web development.
You have experience leading and mentoring a small team of software engineers.
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and presentations to stakeholders.
You have knowledge of software development best practices, such as coding standards, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.
You have the ability to make technical trade-offs and manage technical risks.
You have the ability to evaluate and incorporate new technologies into the company's products.
You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
You understand the customers needs and have experience working with customer support teams.
You have good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
